UC Berkeley B.A. Integrative Biology (Regent's Scholar) UC Irvine Master's in Education (Teaching) and teaching credential I am credentialed to teach all sciences, including biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science.

Experience

8 years classroom teaching experience: all levels of chemistry (regular through AP), all levels of physics (regular through AP C: Mechanics), general and honors biology. Experience tutoring all levels of chemistry, regular and honors physics, all levels of biology, algebra, geometry, Spanish 1-3, writing. I also run SAT and ACT prep courses and tutor/advise for college admissions and personal essays. I love teaching and I love tutoring because of the 1-on-1 experience of seeing students succeed!

Hobbies

I love the outdoors, travel, photography, singing, and swing dancing. In the outdoors, I love backpacking, rock climbing, hiking, rafting, etc. I have been an outdoor guide and worked on trail crews for several years. I have traveled all over Europe and Central America, plus short stints in Asia and South America. I am looking forward to visiting Australia and New Zealand this summer! I lived in Spain for a year and love traveling to Spanish-speaking countries to keep up my Spanish language skills. I am a competitive swing dancer and enjoy being thrown up in the air by my dance partner. I love getting to meet a lot of people, while doing something active. I made this account in 2010, but only just found it again and returned in 2016 to make it public. I have had dozens of clients over the last 15 years who would be happy to tell you about me and how I have helped them.
