I have been mentoring the Future Scientists and Engineers of America program at Castille Elementary for 17 years. I have been a volunteer math tutor for the city of Mission Viejo for the past 6 years. I believe that math is a progressive learning endeavor. My objective is to present the current subject matter in a clear and concise manner by using both traditional and visual methods. I stress the relative importance of each lesion, and how it fits into the overall subject matter. I present why the lesion is important and give real world applications.
